No Ranger losses on solid weekend.

A big weekend of football for Rangers, with a couple of teams taking to the park for the final time for the year and a couple of games were big for a host of reasons.

The Victory League boys travelled to Hobart for their second consecutive game, this time to play Tilford Zebras who needed to win to keep their title hopes alive.

Victory League Falter Against South Hobart.

On Saturday Northern Rangers travelled south to play South Hobart who had just strengthened their squad with the likes of Chris Hunt, Dan Brown and Tom Roach during the week.

The third and final Launceston Derby Cup match was to be played at Mitsubishi Park, but the inclement weather had closed the ground, and the match was transferred to the NTCA at the eleventh hour.

With the Launceston Mitsubishi, Launceston Mazda Derby Cup decided already from the Rangers previous two wins, there was still the important business of 3 victory league points to be decided along with the John McKenna medalist.
